is a poem of discovery and
searching for balance
when deep down inside,
in the the blood,
next to the bone
is the real nature
of our being
that is caught between
the past
and the future
and in the present we keep reaching out,
searching for a place that we can sit back
and feel a single ray of sunshine and
let all of our ideas soar to a place that we know exists
but we haven’t quite found it yet.
