I realize I am not laying out the complete context but I was talking with someone recently and they said that they just can’t understand why there are so many people that seem perfectly happy to sit and watch the world burn. Even more perplexing are the people who are perfectly happy to participate in the burning. We talked around this idea for a bit and shared our hope for the future and at the end of it all it was clear that it’s always better to be water in a world on fire. Be the water.
