ABOUT THIS PAINTING

I have been working on this painting for nearly two years. It began as a horizontal painting of me, laying outside in a lawn chair, under our big, old Oak tree, at 2:00 AM, beneath the Summer, night sky day dreaming about a world where we all just lived peacefully and no one had to fight for survival. The funny thing is even after two years and many, many layers of paint, the underlying theme is still the same. The tree may be gone. The night sky might be gone. But that dream still exists.

Now, more than ever.
