The series, Portraits of Future Past, merges my love of history with my love of art. I love the idea of bringing old, forgotten photos back to life. Our life span is short. The memory of us is not much longer. I hope that this helps to extend the life of all the people in this series as well as help us all to remember our place in the present.

(I am taking a small break from painting to spend some time working on smaller pieces. I have been on a fairly constant painting sprint for the last three years. It is time to let those creative muscles take a break and spend some time working through some other ideas. Ideas, like this one. )
